Hello, I’m Andrew, an experienced Geography teacher currently teaching at one of Spain’s leading international schools after moving from the UK.

Many students struggle with Geography because it can feel like memorising case studies, facts and diagrams without really understanding how everything connects to the real world. When that happens, motivation drops and exam performance often suffers.

The truth is that Geography is one of the most exciting and relevant subjects there is. It is happening all around us every single day. From climate change and global development to natural hazards and cities, it helps explain the world we live in. And no, it is definitely not just about colouring maps.

With 8 years of specialist Geography teaching experience, I help students turn complex topics into clear and logical ideas they can understand and remember. I have been the sole specialist Geography teacher at both schools where I have worked, teaching Edexcel GCSE and AQA A Level, and I now teach International Edexcel IGCSE, AS and A Level. This means I understand exactly what exam boards are looking for and how students can structure strong answers.

I have also travelled extensively around the world for both business and leisure, which allows me to bring real world examples and case studies into lessons. Students often find that once Geography is connected to real places and events, everything suddenly makes much more sense.

I work with students of all abilities, whether you need help understanding difficult topics, improving exam technique, or pushing towards the highest grades. My lessons are patient, supportive and focused on helping you build confidence while making real progress.
